How to Apply

The SRM-CMU MSIT-ESE 2017 Online Application Portal opens on October 15, 2016 at 12.00 AM

Last Date to Receieve Applications: February 16, 2017.

Applicants will want to read all instructions carefully and be prepared to provide the following:

  • Unofficial score report from Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Should the applicant be admitted to the Carnegie Mellon program, official score reports must then be provided to the program.  Although the computer science test is not required for admission, it is highly recommended.
  • Unofficial score report from the TOEFL examination.  If admitted to the Carnegie Mellon program, an official score report must then be provided (code 4256).
  • Curriculum Vitae that clearly describes the candidate’s professional experience.
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) that clearly outlines the applicant’s intent and motivation.
  • An explanation of project experience.
  • Unofficial transcripts of all academic degrees obtained. If admitted to the Carnegie Mellon program, official transcripts are required and must then be provided to the program.
  • Three letters of recommendation (at least one academic in nature).
