Tamil Nadu State Inter University Football Tournament for Men

The Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Melakottaiyur organized a State Inter University Football Tournament beween December 21 to 23, 2016.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) Football Men's Team secured Runners Up in the tournament and received a cash prize of Rs. 1,35,000 / from the Sports Development Authority of Government of Tamil Nadu.

The team included 18 players and each player received Rs.7,500/ from the cash prize
