The Faculty Development Program on Healthy Living Facts was organised by the Department of Management Studies on 24th Oct, 2019.When the acclaimed Chef.Damu entered the portals for an interaction with the staff of SRM, there was only one way things could go and that is exactly what happened. Chef Damu is a reservoir when it comes to cuisines and ingredients that are used in our kitchen. He began his talk by giving tips on healthy living and the key healthy eating habits. The need to take care of the kind of food that should be given to children was stressed upon. The timing was perfect, as it was Deepawali season; the participants were able to clarify many doubts in cooking and preparing sweets. The icing on the cake was when Chef Damu magnanimously shared a few of his trademark recipes and health tips. The session was highly interactive. The staff members participated enthusiastically by asking several questions to the resource person to enhance their culinary skills.
It was an event in which FOOD that sustains all of us took the centre stage. Earlier, the Dean and the Heads of the various departments felicitated the Resource person. The event was coordinated by the Department of Management Studies, SRMIST, Vadapalani.
