Murtuza Petladwala, a second year student in Cloud Computing in Kattankulathur campus of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), has every reason to be on cloud nine, having just been offered a job with NEC Corporation, Japan. He has been placed in the Smart Energy Research Laboratories as a Researcher.
NEC, a multinational provider of Information Technology (IT) products and services has its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The recruitment process for NEC Corporation at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) started on November 22, 2014, with an Aptitude and Technical test for one hour each. This was followed by the NEC specialized test on November 27, 2014.
Murtuza Petladwala emerged victorious in the final interview held on December 4, from among ten students who qualified in the final round.
He attributes his success to the placement department’s untiring support and encouragement, and to the entire SRM family. Murtuza completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and considers it his good fortune to have had the opportunity to study in a reputed institution like SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University)
