Non-Resident Indian students and foreign students are exempted from taking the All India Entrance Examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) for admission.

Bachelors Degree Duration Eligibility
M.B.B.S Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery 4½years + 1 year Must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade in physics, chemistry, biology/Botany & Zoology and a pass in English.
Students following the American High School system will be considered if the above courses have been taken in the 11th and 12th grades or 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses or completed the above science courses in the Bachelor's degree.
B.D.S Bachelor of Dental Surgery 5 years
B.Pharm Bachelor of Pharmacy 4 years
BPT Bachelor of Physiotherapy 4 years + 6 months internship Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade in physics, chemistry, biology/Botany & Zoology and a pass in English.
Students following the American High School system will be considered if the above courses have been taken in the 11th and 12th grades or 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses or completed the above science courses in the Bachelor's degree.
B.Sc Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing 4 years
BOT Bachelor of Occupational Therapy 4 years + 6 months internship
BASLP Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology 4 years
B.Sc. MLT Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology 3 years + 1 year internship Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3 etc.
B.M.R.S Bachelor of Medical Record Sciences 2 years Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3 etc. For those following the American High School system, applications will be considered if the science courses are taken in the 11th and the 12th grade or have completed one or two years of college with science subjects. Minimum requirement is an average of 50% marks or 'C' grade in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE).
B.Optom Bachelor of Optometry 4 years Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade in any two courses - Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology/Botany & Zoology and a pass in English.
Students following the American High School system will be considered if the above courses have been taken in the 11th and 12th grades or 'AP' (Advanced Placement) courses or completed the above science courses in the Bachelor's degree.
P.B.B.Sc Nursing P.B. Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2 years Diploma in Nursing with one year Clinical experience.
B. Sc Radiology & Imaging Technology Bachelor of Science in Radiology & Imaging Technology 3 years Must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Pass in 10+2 of India or equivalent examination e.g. CBSE, ISCE, A Levels, IB, STPM, SAM, OSSD, HSC, NCEA Level 3, American High School, etc. with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade in physics, chemistry, biology/Botany & Zoology and a pass in English.

Additional Information
 

  • In case of candidates who have furnished the mark sheets of the qualifying examination, only in GRADES, the minimum marks pertaining to the grade obtained in the course will be taken into consideration while determining the marks in science subjects. Only students from High schools accredited by the respective State or the Country will be eligible for admission and a statement to this effect should be produced
     
  • The admission is also subject to the final acceptance of the eligibility and approval of the respective council of higher education. If the council disapproves the eligibility, then SRM must not be held responsible for admission
     
  • It is also the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission
     
  • The admission offered to a candidate who has been provisionally admitted to a program will stand cancelled if he/ she does not submit the relevant documents in original pertaining to admission (such as Mark Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate etc.) to the concerned Admissions Officer before the date stipulated in the admission offer
     
  • Admission to various programs will however be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents of the candidates. In case any discrepancy is noticed, even at a later point of time after admission, the management reserves all right to cancel the candidate's admission and such a decision shall be final and binding on the candidate
