  • This contest is open only to currently enrolled students & Alumni (only for those who are passing out during 2011) in an institute, college or university.
  • Entrants can apply either as individuals or as a team.
  • Entrant/s can apply in more than one category.
  • Entries must be submitted using the downloadable form on this page [link below] and submitting a soft copy of the same along with the requisite mandatory requirements.
  • Mandatory requirements for Categories 1, 2 and 3 [soft copies to be mailed along with the form]:
  • Entry presentation in the form of an essay of 1500 words covering the following:
    • Student Bio- data
    • The initiative taken
    • The results achieved
    • Any certificate or reference letter
    • Photographs / Press clippings if any
    • Confirmation that the entrant/s are currently enrolled / have been the alumni (passed out during 2011) in their Institution [For Category 3, confirmation that entrant is also an office bearer in the Student Council]
  • Name of the HOD or Principal with his / her email & phone No (landline & mob)
  • Mandatory requirements for Category 4 [soft copies to be mailed along with the form]:
  • Entry presentation in the form of an essay of 1500 words covering the following:
    • Executive summary [Key elements of your business plan]
    • An overview of the industry sector of your business.
    • Target market for your product/ service
    • Brief competition analysis
    • Marketing Plan [Product/ service's benefits, pricing plan and sales strategy]
    • Management Plan [Management and human resource needs]
    • Operating Plan [Description of the operational process - business's physical location, facilities and equipment, kinds of employees needed and other operational requirements]
    • Financial Plan [Funding requirements and financial viability of your business]
  • Name of the HOD or Principal with his / her email & phone No (landline & mob)
Terms and Conditions
  • All entries must be submitted within the stipulated deadlines, failing which entries will be disqualified.
  • SRM University will not be responsible for missing, delayed, illegible or incomplete entries or other errors, regardless of cause.
  • By submitting an entry to participate in the Innominds Awards, an entrant confirms his/ her agreement to its conditions and promises to adhere to them.
  • The entrant represents and warrants that the entry, and materials submitted with the entry are original ideas and that it does not infringe the copyrights or intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that their entry can be judged in the English language.If the entrant is required to make an oral presentation or provide supporting materials, these presentations and materials must be presented and/or submitted in the English language.
  • The content of an entry and any supporting materials must be acceptable for all viewing audiences. SRM University will automatically disqualify any entrant that submits any entry or supporting materials that contain text, sound or images that they, in their sole opinion and for any reason, find vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate for public viewing, or that may present SRM University and the sponsors in a negative light.
  • Entrants are solely responsible for providing correct entry information. SRM University is not liable for incorrect spelling of project titles and entrants’ names as a result of incorrect information submitted on the entry forms.
  • SRM University reserves the right to obtain additional documentation, if necessary. When it is uncertain which category an entry is eligible for, SRM University has the authority to move the entry into a relevant one.
  • The basic premise of the INNOMINDS Awards is that submissions are eligible for an award only if and when the work merits an award. Nomination judging panelists may choose not to bestow any nomination in a category should the work submitted not be worthy of a nomination in their expert opinion.
  • All entry materials will become the property of SRM University and will not be returned to entrants. The entrant agrees to grant SRM University the right to use materials submitted along with the entry including photographs, visuals, sound and text for use in the promotional activities and the awards presentation.
  • SRM University reserves the sole discretion to disqualify entries of entrants found to be influencing, manipulating or tampering with the submission or selection process, providing falsified information or acting in violation of the rules and regulations.
  • SRM University has the authority to resolve unclear situations, which are not dealt with in the contest rules and regulations, and which need to be resolved in order to carry out the contest successfully.
  • SRM University reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest without prior notice.
  • SRM University’s decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to this contest.
