International chefs day 2019 campaigning the theme “How Healthy food works” was celebrated at SRM Institute of Hotel Management with a day of International Chefs Day Conference on 17th and on 18th was the Spanish Culinary workshop done by the Spanish Chef Mr. Antonio, the executive Sous Chef of The Diplomatic Club of Doha Qatar, demonstrated five Spanish students to the budding hoteliers all revolving around the topic “How Healthy Food Works”.

The famous celebrity chef Dr. Damodharan demonstrated Naatupura Meen kuzhambu and served it with pazhaya soru which allured the audience at a higher level.

The fruit mixing ceremony for the Christmas cake is exuberantly organized every year as a harbinger of good tidings and happiness. This occasion has been organized at our institute for the past 20 years with the presence of renowned chefs and higher delegates and the spirit of Christmas is sown into the hearts of everyone.

Prizes for the winners of intra and inter college competitions like cookathon, mystery basket, quiz, food photography was distributed to the students by the esteemed delegates.
