Five-Days Hands-on Workshop on Design, Fabrication and Testing of Non-Isolated Switched-Mode Power Converters

Dates: 18th April – 22nd April, 2022

About the Conference

Switched-Mode Power Converters (SMPC) are playing a dominant role in various applications such as Photovoltaic (PV) power extraction, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging, and Industrial drives. Design of such power electronic converters as per the required specifications is an art. Consequently, the primary focus of the workshop is to provide knowledge on the design, fabrication and testing of non-isolated SMPCs. Moreover, the participants will get hands on experience in step by step design of single-sided printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing, inductor design, gate pulse generation using Aurdino, DSPACE and FPGA. Finally, it will give complete exposure on manufacturing of SMPC as per the required specifications.

About Fabric'22

The theme of FAB-RIC ‘22 (Research, Rethink & Resurrection of Indian Cities) is based on the spirit of development that has propelled and transformed our Indian cities in the past few decades into a vibrant and complex labyrinth. Our unique culture and its associated portrayal through the urban fabric has started to deteriorate. Cities were once beacons of culture, wealth, health & knowledge. Now, they are mired in unsustainable practices, unhealthy conditions, pollution, overpopulation, and a non-citizen centric approach resulting in confusion in its urban morphology and landscape. In order to research, rethink & resurrect the following sub themes are identified.
