"Shoulder to Shoulder with Chefs" - Young Chefs Development Program

IFCA Young Chefs Forum in association with SRM Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology had come together to host ”Shoulder to Shoulder With Chefs” – Young Chefs Development Program , held on February 9, 2015 at T.P Ganesan Auditorium, Mini Hall, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) Campus , Kattankulathur , Chennai.
This exciting event was designed to help students of culinary education & young chefs to meet executive chefs of several leading hotels under one roof.

The event was conceived to serve as a great opportunity for students & young chefs to nurture them by imparting key skills & basic techniques required to shine in the profession. It was also considered as a learning lab to help them prepare better to take on the professional mantle comfortably. This forum will definitely act as a stepping stone to elevate the culinary standards of the country.

The one day event encompassed lecture on global culinary trends, cultural background of a global cuisine, panel discussions, gourmet quiz, Q&A session & much more. All participants received certificate for participation. Executive chefs of leading hotels across Chennai are expected to be part of this culinary event.
