Bioscience intersects with a number of other scientific branches, such as Chemistry and physics, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Medical Sciences, Immunology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. The School of Bio-sciences has the departments of Bio-technology and Bio-informatics. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organism and Bioinformatics involves the application of computer technology to the management of biological information.
