Under the Faculty Abroad Program, Dr.Andrija Maricic came from New Zealand on deputation for a period of one year and shared his rich experiences with the faculty in Software Engineering and Data Mining.

Dr. Srini Ramaswamy, Prof and Chairperson, Computer Science, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA is one of our alumnus. He gave a guest lecture on his research experiences abroad.

Our Computer Science faculty who are involved in research in data mining and wireless communications are in touch with various research persons at UC Davis.
Mrs.Annapoorani Paniayappan, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, went on a month-long visit to Linyi Normal University, Linyi, China to teach Computer Organization and Architecture to Undergraduate students.

T.Senthil and Sasi Rekha Sankar, Assistant Professors, CSE Department, were sent to  Linyi Normal University, Linyi, China. The main purpose of their visit was to handle few specialized subjects and also act as emissary to motivate Chinese students to pursue their higher education in SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University).

M. Pushpalatha and Revathi Venkatraman were deputed as short term research scholar to University of Southern California in the year 2011 and trained in Wireless Sensor Networks.

Dr.E.Poovammal, Dr.C.Lakshmi and R.Annie Uthra had under gone a semester abroad training program at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA in the year 2012. This venture was to initiate a collaborative program MSIT-ESE by Carnegie Mellon and SRM Universities. They were trained and certified as MSIT-ESE adjunct faculty for the courses like Hardware for Software Engineers, Computer Science for Practicing Engineers, Architectures of Software Systems and Analysis of Software Artifacts.
