Post Graduates ( MD /MS) Admissions 2020-2021

Annoncements Description: 

The MD/MS admissions 2020-21 for SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur is through All India Common Counseling conducted by DGHS.

The Candidates Selected through All India Common counseling through DGHS for admissions at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, should report to the Dean between 9 am to 5 pm. 

The online counseling Schedule shall be viewed in the MCC Website.

The Candidates should report along with Original Certificates and Demand Draft for tuition fees & Other fee or UTR No for Transfer through RTGS as specified herein below.

The Candidates should bring the following certificates / documents in Original (along with 2 sets of photocopies of the same):-

  1. Provisional Allotment Letter generated through ONLINE ( DGHS )

  2. NEET (PG) 2020 Score card

  3. NEET (PG) 2020 Admit Card

  4. Class 10th/ 12th Mark Sheet as proof of Date of Birth

  5. MBBS Mark Sheets

  6. Attempt  Certificate

  7. Course Completion/Conduct Certificate

  8. CRRI Completion Certificate

  9. Provisional /Degree Certificate

  10. State Medical Council Registration

  11. Transfer Certificate

  12. Community Certificate (if OBC/SC/ST)

a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the prospectus) and should be in English if it is in other than English and English version of the same should be submit Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.

b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus.

c) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized

Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act,2016. No other PH certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained.

  3. Proof of identity (PAN Card & Aaadhar Card) - Original for verification and return and Photocopy submitted.

  4. Passport size latest Photograph of the Candidate (10 Nos) . 

  5. The following conditions are required to be met by the NRI Candidate (Indian/Others to NRI):- 

1. As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case 

(W.P. (C) No.689/2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors.) dated 22-08-2017 and principles set out in Anshul Tomar (supra) case. 

The list of documents to be submitted are as follows: 

1. Affidavit of the person who is NRI and the sponsorer. 

2. Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer) 

3. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of  The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017-   Consortium  of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India  & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017 

4. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he / she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate. 

5. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer. 

Candidates without original certificate/ documents shall not be allowed to take admission. Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that "their original certificates are deposited with the Institute /College/ University" will not be allowed to take admission.

Allotment letter given by DGHS for admission, is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the MCI and Medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit will not be admitted to the course of study to which they are allotted by the DGHS.

All Courses are three years duration

The annual tuition fee for all clinical programmes in MD and MS is payable in two stages. 50% of the annual tuition fee is payable at the time of counseling for first year (and before 30th April for second and third year of study) and the remaining 50% is payable before 30th September every year.

All NRI Candidates & Candidates of Non-clinical programmes in MD and MS, the annual tuition fees must be paid fully at the time of counseling for first year and before 30th April every year for second year and third year of study.
